The service is hosted by OVH SAS, a simplified joint-stock company with capital of EUR 50,000,000, RCS Lille Metropole 424 761 419 00045, at 2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France.
2. Scope and acceptance
Capslane is intended for professionals and organisations acting for business purposes. Creating an account, using an API key or purchasing a paid plan means accepting the version of these terms presented at that time. The applicable plan, price and billing period are shown before payment.
3. The service
Capslane retrieves existing captions and can generate timestamped transcripts for supported public YouTube videos. Features, limits and supported sources may change as upstream services and the product evolve.
4. Accounts and API keys
You must provide accurate account information and keep sessions and API keys confidential. You are responsible for activity performed with credentials issued to your workspace. Compromised keys must be revoked promptly from the dashboard.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use Capslane to break the law, infringe third-party rights, bypass access controls, distribute malware, disrupt the service or evade quotas. Automated use must remain within the documented API contract and the limits assigned to your plan.
6. Videos and transcripts
You are responsible for the video identifiers you submit and for having a lawful basis to use the resulting transcripts. YouTube videos and their content remain the property of their respective rights holders. Capslane does not grant rights to third-party content.
7. Plans, prices and billing
Prices are displayed in euros excluding VAT. Applicable taxes and the complete amount due are shown before payment. Paid plans can be billed monthly or annually. Annual billing is charged in advance for 12 months at the price of 10 monthly payments, which gives two months free compared with twelve monthly payments.
Request allowances reset monthly and unused requests do not roll over, including on an annual plan. Stripe securely processes payments and provides invoices and the billing portal. Capslane does not store payment card details.
A paid plan renews automatically for the selected monthly or annual period until cancelled. You can cancel renewal or manage the plan from the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Any price, proration or effective date for a plan change is shown in the portal before confirmation.
8. Availability
We monitor the service and work to restore failed requests, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. Public video availability, captions and response times can depend on third-party systems outside our control. Maintenance or abuse prevention may temporarily limit access.
9. Intellectual property
Capslane, its interface, documentation, software and brand assets belong to Webba Creative Technologies or its licensors. These terms grant only the limited right to use the service while your account is active.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend access when necessary to address security risks, unpaid charges, unlawful activity or a material breach of these terms. You may stop using Capslane and cancel a paid subscription from the billing portal.
11. Liability
Each party is responsible for direct and foreseeable damage caused by its breach. To the extent permitted by law, Webba Creative Technologies is not responsible for indirect loss or for loss caused solely by unavailable, removed or changed third-party content. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be limited, including for fraud, gross negligence or personal injury.
12. Applicable law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. The parties will first try to resolve a dispute in good faith. If no agreement is reached, the competent courts are determined by applicable procedural law. Mandatory protections that cannot be contractually excluded remain unaffected.
